My entry for 
's Seasonal Outfit contest. My piece was supposed to represent fall, because the clothing I most associate with fall is high school football gear. Of course, fall where I live is like winter everywhere else, and let's face it, Maria and I both have this thing for cool colors. I'm tempted to do a poll asking about latitude and what season you think it is. Heh.
But my original plans for this piece kinda went to heck after spending some time in the ER with a sick relative, and it spawned a story to go with it.
In order to stay with the rules of the contest, I'm going to post that story separately, and just include the artwork in it. Still, the picture came first and stands alone.
