I'm not back. Please change that.

So my last attempt to come back didn't really go so well.

I've spent the intervening time, when I have been thinking about dA, thinking about three things:

1) I miss my friends.
2) I have all this stuff to do that I'm not even sure I want to
3) Why don't I go back?
4) I would hate to commit to anything and have my real life go to crap.

In reflecting on all of this, I realized that #2 is the problem. Until I'm actually interested in dA again, here's how it's going to work.

The only obligation I'm going to keep on my to do list is my feature I promised as a contest prize for a particular group.

All other obligations I have are on hold. 

I have completely cleared my deviation messages and mostly cleared my journal.

If you want me to see something you've done since May, comment here with thumbs or links. No promises.

For at least one week, I am just going to be a normal dA citizen and not check my group correspondence unless I get bored. Maybe even two.

Two weeks from now, around July 22nd, I'm gonna try to pick up where I left off at Art-Academy-Users and Liwick-Fc. I probably won't resume features there until early to mid-August. 

Four weeks from now, I will assess what I can contribute to the other groups I'm in.

If I owe you something, note me, but I'm probably going to have to back out. Sorry.

Please remind me why I love this site. 

If I get a chance to art, I'm going to take it over everything else. I've been really unhappy since writer's block set in. Art is my priority.
